    PATCH NOTES

     

    October 25th 2020:

     

    These changes have been in effect since last week but the thread was postponed for obvious reasons. A Q&A Thread has also been posted HERE.

     

    Regions and Vouchers

    • Vouchers and Regions:
      • New regions or a region upgrade from a village to a city may be added with their vouchers upon acceptance regardless of if it is the voucher or manpower update day.
      • It should be reminded to the playerbase that players who are believed by FT to be loopholing or abusing any mechanic or rule in the system may suffer penalties that can include but are not limited to:
        • Blacklisted from vouching.
        • Blacklisted from war participation.



     

    War System and Manpower

    • Player Related War System Updates:
      • *Players can not make specific actions using their items/powers/mounts/abilities in their war plans as overarching actions in the army, players may only make use of these on the battlefield in ingame war events.
      • *We would like to reiterate that when it comes to ingame war events your NPCs while they can have some effect, dwarf in comparison to players working simultaneously together.
      • *Artillery pieces (Cannons, Trebuchets, Catapults, etc.) when used in War Events may only be operated by Player Characters, NOT by NPC soldiers unless specified otherwise by Faction Team or through a HUA exception.
    • NPC/Manpower Related War System Updates:
      • *Troops start from their home region, unless otherwise specified or in some cases of the usage of a surprise attack.
      • *Special actions in a war plan may only be conducted by approved Hero Units.
      • *Villages are now allowed to build drydocks.
        • *Ships coming from Village drydocks are restricted from being able to use Heavy Ships.
          • *Regions that previously had drydocks as cities but were downgraded, have been automatically been given them back.
      • *Temporary War Event Artillery Rules: Player usage of artillery pieces are now directly tied to the amount of siege engineers they have in their army.
        • *For every 4 siege engineers in an army, that army may have 1 piece of ingame usable artillery to be used by players in the case of a War Event.
        • *If that piece of artillery is destroyed in battle ICly the siege engineers will be counted as dead or unusable for the intents and purposes of the war.
      • *Ship Types are now further clarified for IC purposes:
        • *Transport ships are any type of ship used for the mass transportation of soldiers.
        • *Light Ships are now most similar to Early Medieval Cogs and or Norse Longships, they are light and fast and while can perform combat they are no match against their larger sibling.
          • *Light ships may also now travel up rivers.
        • *Heavy Ships are any type of large, open waters, seafaring vessel. They are much larger than Light Ships and are optimal for sea-combat.
      • *Any MP not accounted for in a war plan will not be used for that war.
      • *Cities are allowed to place their 1 alotted Port in one of their vassals if their home region cant support it.

    due to a wording discrepancy that could insinuate that artillery may only be used in War Events full stop.
