Humanity will endure
* signs are placed on the airship docks and main gate of ancient bluff *

"Too anyone who is reading this ancient bluff has closed its borders and

removed itself from world relations while this disease spreads

across the aethius, all infected and non-infected individuals

"don't try to gain access to the town", You will be forced to leave

And denied access until this crisis is resolved. "

Prevention inside the bluff methods.

- The ports aren't working in character Anyone who does go through said port Will be in character forced back onto said port immediately, there are signs placed down so ignoring the signs and warnings will count as meta gaming.

- The main gate's port coulis is lowered and there are guards stationed with crossbows, anyone forcing entrance to the town will be fired upon.

-Residents (however few actually logged off in the town) are encouraged to ration food and store water in separate rooms and areas.

-All residents are to have mandatory cleaning, daily, to ensure that no additional diseases infect the town.

- Any resident caught outside not wearing protective clothing. e.g. a face cowl or full plague mask ensemble will be reprimanded and forced back into their homes by the guards.

- The falconry is under lock down, no birds are to leave, and any falcons spotted flying toward the town will be shot down.

Cure attempts

The researchers and scholars inside the bluff have gathered to attempt to try and find a cure, however progress is slow and several methods have so far proved unsuccessful.

1. Covering the inflicted in cloth, This method has been found to offer little more than reduced infection rates, as such it has been mandatory for the residents to wear full body covers.

2. In an attempt to reduce the headache symptom, a hole was drilled into a quarantined infected individual's skull to allow the pain to drain, results of this experiment are still on hold.

Cure option 2 failed.

3. A mixture of honey and pungent herbs are applied to the chest and face of the individual to clear the airways and dull the senses. Results to this are still on hold. Results undetermined.

4. The consumption of bread mould, to be honest we're throwing science and medicine at the wall to see what sticks.
