CiT Update time. The changes carried in this one pertain to the Weight-Requirements sheet, as well as reverting a previous change. We also want to set in a very minor change regarding the taming of common-tier animals, specify some minor rules regarding naming items, and provide some easy access understanding of what CiT will be doing pre and post exodus. There will also be minor updates to the CiT Information Thread’s rules section to better sorted and easier to read through, though this will be done in the background over time and is not the highest priority.

---

Additions and Changes to the
Sheet:
  • Slightly reduced metal requirement for rapiers from 800 grams to 750 grams.
  • Added metal requirements for full-metal shields separated by general size.
    • Large Metal Shields - 8 kg
      • Scutums, Tower-Shields, etc.
    • Medium Metal Shields - 6 kg
      • Heater-Shields, Round-shields, etc.
    • Small Metal Shields - 4 kg
      • Bucklers, Targes, etc.
        • More may be added on request.
  • Added Weights for a few asian style weapons:
    • Geom (Double-Edged Korean Sword) - 900 grams
    • Woldo (Korean Pole-Blade) - 1.2 kg
    • Hook-Sword - 1.2 kg
      • More may be added on request if request sits within the techlock.
  • Changed the wording for armor from ‘Below-Average,’ ‘Average’ and ‘Above-Average,’ into size-based categories i.e ‘Below-Average Size,’ ‘Average Size,’ ‘Above-Average Size.’

We also want to specify that you should not use non-latin script in the names of items. You may use latin script to scribe the pronunciation of something’s name in another language, but please keep the lettering within the confines of the latin alphabet, that way item names can be easily read by other players. For further clarification, accented letters and similar are fine.

For applying for common animals, you no longer require a material application beforehand, and may now find and tame common-tier animals within a custom-item application. Through this method however, you must provide gathering-rp for the animal, and failure to put that in the application will make it applicable for denial.

We are also reverting the change regarding melting down items from the last update. You may now melt down crafts as a smith with 100% return rate but to clarify, only of the rarity your smithing level allows.

Prior to the exodus, all players will be granted a single shulker box to store a total of nine key items in, of which should be items that can be carried upon a single character. With the assumption that there will be an event arc going through the events of exodus, you will want to focus on a single character for that period.

These nine selected items will be granted an addition to their tag denoting which world they are from (
- A4 or something like that), and then copies without the tag addition will be returned to the player until the time comes.

The items selected will carry with that character through the exodus, and will be all that is kept until the old physical storage vaults are pasted into the new world. It would be recommended for players not to change their In-Game-Names for the time being.

Once this is done, players may retrieve some old things, but will need to notify a CiT member to confirm what items they are retrieving. All material items will also be reset during this exodus, and players will be able to ‘sell’ their material items for an amount of arunes based on material rarity. The values and rates of exchange at this time are still being developed.

Certain items that are too big to be carried through may not be allowed to be taken with, and should some items be declined entry through exodus, may be discarded, voided, or made rid of by some other means yet to be decided.

It is likely for a period magical items will be disabled as usual. If anything here has yet to be clarified, feel free to PM me and the reply or clarification left out will be added to this to make the info as clear as possible.

Any informational sub-forums affected have been updated in response to the above changes. Custom-Item Rules and Information will slowly be getting an over-time update as well in the background, mainly to address wording and to make it less annoying to read through. Also following the announcements regarding material items from the last update, any material items not yet updated to the new system will be considered voided and unusable ICly, players who placed their names upon the names-list to have their material items updated, will still be helped after this point. If you still have materials to be updated, you have a 24 hour period ending at midnight tomorrow (1/10/19) to place your name here on this Doc. You may still request a CiT member to fix the tags of any old normal custom-items when needed.

That should be all for this one, have a productive and wonderful evening! If you have questions, feel free to PM me through the Forums or Discord.

One addition to also be noted, is that CiT will retain the 50% metal return rate on the reforging of Legendary crafts, as to discourage repeated reforging of Legendary Crafted weapons or similar. Otherwise, any rarity below Legendary remains at 100% for the time being, unless any misuse is effectively reported. Informational threads have been updated.
